Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Prepared Foods Department Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
• Work closely with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assist in the analysis of sales reports, labor, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure timely and accurate paperwork processing.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to Team Members to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
• Act as a point of contact for customers and Team Members, providing prompt and courteous service.
• Work collaboratively with the store leadership team to achieve business objectives and promote a positive store culture.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation procedures.Requirements
  • At least 18 months of retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop Team Members.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
