Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a current Packaging Line Leader job in Torrance. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Responsibilities for this Packing Line Leader job include:

•Monitor packaging schedule and manage process flow and resources; and provide input to Packaging Manager and/or Assistant Packaging Manager.

•Review the Packaging Process Sheet to assure that correct components and labels are received per Work Order, perform line clearance prior to starting the operations.

•Assist in equipment setup, troubleshooting equipment maintenance issues, line clearance, and inspection during production.

•Assist in creating maintenance list and follow up with maintenance to maintain the facility in orderly condition.

•Support product development activities and take on new job related responsibilities as needed to support production activities.

•Ensure that cGMP and safe work practices are followed and the products are packaged according to these guidelines.

Qualifications:

•3-4 years of experience in packaging of Dietary Supplements or Pharmaceuticals or similar environment is desired

•Understanding and knowledge of various manufacturing operations and cGMP is required

•Good communication skills

•High School diploma or higher education

•Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
