Job Description:
A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel - Commercial to
focus on commercial contracting supporting sales and go-to-market
teams.
Key Responsibilities
Handle general contract inquiries and assist sales teams with
contract language and revisions
Structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of customer-facing
agreements while ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Advise internal clients on legal issues and manage risks in
commercial transactions
Required Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar
(CA/NY preferred)
At least 5-8 years of experience negotiating complex software or
SaaS contracts
Strong understanding of standard contract language applicable to
SaaS transactions
Experience in-house within a company with a quarterly sales cycle
preferred
Experience with financial services or private market transactions
is a plus
