TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in San Diego, California, 92123 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Emergency Room Job Duration: 13 weeks or 26 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a segmented/separate pediatric emergency department or children's hospital License: California RN License (must have in hand or with an estimated time of arrival) Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience with computerized charting - Triage experience - IV Start skills - Telemetry skills - Conscious Sedation skills - Flu shot (required) Job Description: - No holiday requested time off (RTO) is allowed - Shift includes 3x12s, variable or straight nights - Block scheduling can be requested - Maximum of 6 days RTO - Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays - Travelers will not be scheduled for a day shift immediately following a night shift - Travelers may be scheduled for two different shifts in a month, but shifts are closely related (e.g., 12/14, 7/9, 14/16, 16/19) - Candidates will float within the hospital and for the NICU, they may float to satellite locations - Permanent staff need to wait a year to be eligible to travel - Modules need to be completed before starting and are non-billable (can take 6-8 hours to complete) - Orientation includes 12 non-billable hours to be completed before starting This job requires a commitment to working effectively in a high-pressure environment and providing excellent pediatric care. 26114031EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
