Job Description:
A company is looking for a Vice President of Actuarial Science
to drive strategy and manage actuarial expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead actuarial aspects of rate negotiations and filings for
Medicaid and Marketplace
Oversee actuarial processes and ensure alignment with business
needs and financial reporting
Manage the hiring and development of actuarial staff and represent
the actuarial function in external communications
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Finance
Minimum of ten years of experience in the Actuarial Industry, with
five years in management
Seven years of experience in healthcare actuarial functions,
including Medicaid and Commercial business
Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries and Associate or
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries required
Experience with state or federal regulators preferred
