GQR Healthcare-Allied is seeking a travel nurse RN Case
Management for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.Job
Description & Requirements
Experience:
--- Required Work Experience: 1 year of Case Manager experience and
2 years of RN experience
--- MUST have Inpatient experience and L&D experience
--- Must have experience Managing inpatient case manager processes
but only have 21 direct reports, LVNs and non-licensed staff,
discharge planners.
--- Utilization review experience
--- Receives a lot of transport patients. This role requires a lot
of multi-tasking and has a high volume of cases.
--- Excellent and clear communication skillset required
--- Hospital needs clear and meaningful communicators to improve
their outcomes
--- Travel Experience not required but preferred
Case types:
--- All Inpatient
--- L&D
--- High Volume
--- Management of a team
--- Handling adults 18+
--- 15-20 cases per CM
--- LVNs are there to support anything clinical
--- Both CM and utilization review will be their responsibility
13 week contract
Shift: Days - 8:30am-4:30pm; Monday-Friday; 40 hours - 5 x 8 's
Patient ratios (if known): Within Guidelines of CA State Law
Float Requirements: None
Is RTO Accepted? What is the Max: Up to 4 days max RTO approved
On Call Requirement? NO
Certs: BLS, LA County Fire Card
License: Active CA RN License; If CA License is expired, it will
need to be renewed
