Tax Senior Manager, International
We are seeking a Tax Senior Manager, International with extensive experience in public accounting and tax management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Performs technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity.
  
• Serves as a subject matter expert in tax disciplines or industries.
  
• Assumes full responsibility for large-scale tax returns and strategically delegates to tax preparers as necessary.
  
• Manages client service for direct clients and those delegated from partners.
  
• Delegates and oversees governmental tax examinations, representing clients before pertinent authorities.
  
• Develops and trains staff, recruiting and directing tax preparers, and acting as an instructor for professional development programs.
  
• Ensures smooth operation and timely preparation and delivery of tax returns through effective management of the tax preparation system.
  
• Responsible for accurate and timely billing and collection processes.
  
• Prepares reports and undertakes projects as requested by partners.
  
• Researches, evaluates, and recommends tax preparation and research software to partners.
  
• Actively participates in firm practice development by engaging with referral sources and participating in community and industry activities.
  
  Minimum Position Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Proven knowledge of current tax laws.
    
  • Proficiency in computer-based tax preparation, tax research, and tax planning software.
    
  • Availability to work overtime throughout the year and excessive overtime from January 1 to April 15, possibly over 55 hours per week.
    
  • Between seven to ten years of experience in public accounting, showing progression in tax complexity and scope.
    
  • At least two years of experience representing clients before taxing authorities.
    
  • A minimum of one year of experience supervising and directing the work of tax preparers.
    
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; a master's degree in taxation is preferred.
    
  • A minimum of forty hours of continuing education annually to maintain and develop technical and business skills.
    
  • A current and valid certified public accountant's license is required.
    
  • Membership in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs.
